I can't believe how much joy and love I feel when I look into the face of my runny-nosed 10 month old.
I wish 10-month olds knew how to blow their noses.
Should I get the H1N1 vaccine or not?
It's disappointing when friendships turn out to be not as much of a two-way street as one originally thought.
I'd really like to eat a cappuccino heath blizzard from Dairy Queen right now.
I'm learning a lot about sin nature through Brynn. We are born with the desire to want what we can not have.
I'm excited to see my dad on Friday night and see some Michigan friends (who now live in Utah) on Saturday night.
I often think about removing myself from blogging and facebook, but I'm afraid of what I might miss and afraid of which friendships are really only holding on by the thread that is "social networking."
Brynn has the best smile! (I'm sure all mother's think that about their own children.)
Sometimes I'm just lazy.
I love being Brynn's mom, and am in awe at the responsibility of parenting. This helpless little one is completely dependent on me, and I will greatly influence and shape her personality, her beliefs, her outlook on God, on life and on others...oh, Lord, help me!
What's one thing I can do today to better support Brandon?
Maybe I should ask one of the local news station to let me be a traffic reporter. I can always see how traffic is flowing and what lanes are blocked following an accident...right from my living room window.
Being tired at 6:00 a.m. with my sick baby is way more pleasant than being tired at 6:00 a.m. and having to get in the car to go to work.
Keep doing what's right, be compassionate and kind to others, and let God be God.
I've always wanted to have jury duty, but have never been called. I finally get a summons to report this Thursday but am bummed because I'll have to miss MOPS.
-I wish I could bring you a cappacino heath blizzard from DQ right now
-Brynn DOES have the best smile!
-I'm lazy too! (And yet, we are so busy! :)
-I love how happy bringing Brynn home has made you!
-I think about removing myself from social networks altogether and don't for the same reasons.
-I still think prayer is the best support we can give our husbands.
-I'd love to tune in to your news cast. I know you'd be great!
-Amen! About the books!
-Dinner is always a challenge (last night we had tacos in case that helps!)
-I miss my articulate friend who lives in Indy!
I loved reading your random thoughts...a reflection of a mother's heart, a wife's heart and a child of God's heart. And ya know what? I love that heart of yours! You are an inspiration Charity...please don't ever stop blogging. I feel so connected being able to watch Brynn grow and stay in touch with you this way. As for FB...I could take it or leave it. Haven't been on there in a long while. But please don't do away with your precious blog. Much love to you, Brandon and Brynn!
